Co Owner/Treasurer
Nancy was born and raised in Petoskey. He family is now six generations in Emmet County. Nancy is a
proud graduate of MSU Class of ‘81 with a degree in Political Science/Pre-Law. She and Robert were
married in 1980 and have three sons, that mean the world to her. While living in Georgia she began her
work career as an auditor. This experience would lend itself well to her future as co-owner/Treasurer of
Northwest Mechanical, Inc.
Northwest Mechanical, Inc. was founded by Robert and Nancy in 1994. Nancy was the assistant librarian
at Petoskey High School at the time, and worked both jobs for the next 6 years. As the business grew,
more time was required of her in the business, so she left the high school and focused her efforts on the
business and raising their three sons, Mitch, Sam and Phil. All three were heavily involved in sports and
other school activities, so volunteering was a huge part of her life for many years. About ten years later,
missing “her” kids a the high school, Nancy went back and worked in the library again for another stint.
With this being the 30th year, she is looking forward to retirement. Nancy currently works in our office as
the HR person. The remainder of her time, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her
grandchildren. Her favorite is spending time on Walloon Lake, which is her happy place.
